Rupert Everett Apologizes For His Rude Comments

Last week, Rupert Everett opened his big mouth and said some nasty things about Americans.

“… Now they (the Americans) are whiny victims whose language is entirely taken from two TV shows - Friends and Sex And The City - and there’s nothing sexy about them any more.”

And now this week he has decided to apologize for the comment…probably because he was upset that I would fast forward through all his parts in My Best Friends Wedding.

“I was talking trivially about something very serious. I never meant at any point to question the bravery of those who lose their lives, or survive, but without arms and legs.

“My flippant and irresponsible behaviour arises from a deep frustration at the fact that we seem to be continuing making war. Again I apologise without reserve to anyone who has been insulted by my remarks.”

This doesn’t make you okay with me Mr. Everett. I will only watch that part where you sing in that movie…but the rest of it…still fast forwarding!
