Amy Winehouse Doesn’t Have TB

However, her doctors don’t yet know what’s wrong with her. Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized in London since fainting on Monday.

Her publicist Tracey Miller said:

“Our official statement from last night still stands: ‘Amy has undergone more scans and tests today and we are awaiting the verdict of her doctors.’ I can confirm that Amy does have a chest infection, she is not coughing blood, she doesn’t have TB, and she is still in the hospital undergoing more tests and following the directions of her doctors. I will let you know if we have any further updates.”

Her father Mitch told press that “Amy is doing fine,” and confirmed that the singer will remain hospitalized “as long as possible” until her physicians determine a proper diagnosis.

Amy has major performances scheduled for later this month. She is due to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert in London, and directly following appear at the Glastonbury Music Festival. However, it appears that she will not resume her concert schedule until she has been cleared by her doctor.

If this isn’t rock bottom, I don’t know what is! Kids, let this be a lesson to you about drug abuse!
