George Carlin Has Died

George Carlin has died of heart failure On Sunday night at the age of 71. What sad news to wake up to first thing on a Monday morning.

[George] who had a history of heart and drug-dependency problems, died at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. EDT) after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains, spokesman Jeff Abraham told Reuters.

He is so well known that this death will shock everyone. I think I know him best as the voice of the conductor on Thomas The Tank Engine shows. My brother back in the ’90’s would watch that show all day sometimes and George would be on it acting as crazy as he could for a kids show.

R.I.P. George…Make everyone in heaven laugh now.

    George Carlin will be missed.
He was ahead of the others when it came to using “those” words.
Carlin was funny, and he dared to be like no other.
He left his mark on the entertainment world in a big way.
Like him or not, you knew who George Carlin was.
    RIP.
