Britney Spears Wins Overnight Visits With Her Kids

Now we know why Britney Spears sped back to Los Angeles after the birth of her new niece Maddie - she had a court date to prepare for.  Brit appeared in court with ex-husband Kevin Federline in a hearing that reportedly increased the pop princess’ custodial time with her kids.  People reports:

Details of the hearing’s outcome were not announced. But a source confirms for PEOPLE that Spears will now be allowed to have her sons Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2, with her overnight.

This will be the first overnight visits Britney has had with her boys since her mental breakdown and hospitalization in January.

A court spokesman confirmed that “Spears’s demeanor before the commissioner was “businesslike.”  What a difference psychotropic drugs make, huh?
