Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, will not be returning to Law & Order: Criminal Intent for the show’s eighth season. He has been playing the character Detective Mike Logan since 2005.

The show is evidently looking for replacement star power, though, because they’re bringing on Jeff Goldblum starting in the fall.

I am a huge fan of Criminal Intent, but I don’t think that Chis Noth brought that much to the show.� Not sure what Jeff Goldblum will either, but time will tell!
