Both a Spider-Man sequel and a spin off based on�Venom are in the pipeline.

Filmsy.com reports on Spider-Man 4:

Sam Raimi said that writer James Vanderbilt is about to finish the script to the next sequel. Raimi has gone on to say that he is excited to read the script and he hopes that it is good enough that he will want to be involved again.

Sony is hoping to release Spider-Man 4 in 2011, as for Venom Empire.com says:

Jacob Estes (Mean Creek) has already been commissioned to write a script, although The Hollywood Reporter says that Sony may decide to pass on that script and is looking at new writers. With no script in place, there’s no news on which version of Venom the movie would follow. It could be Eddie Brock (played by Topher Grace in�Spider-Man 3, though Grace has not been approached to reprise his role), which would require some back-pedalling given the end of of Spidey 3, or it could be one of the later characters who are overtaken by the alien symbiote. If Sony was feeling particularly daring, it could even be a woman, based on the comic book lore.

Interesting stuff, but it looks like Venom won’t come until after Spider-Man 4. So now, all we can do is wait, and speculate.

Vanessa Hudgens is on the cover of the latest Teen Vogue looking extremely sweet and innocent. The pink lipstick, the puffy sleeves, the sailor-suit cut of her top…could this really be the same girl who was recently pictured straddling her totally gay boyfriend Zac Efron on the beach?

Speaking of such adult behavior, ‘Ness talks to the magazine about getting older and what that means to her:

“I’m turning 20 this year, so of course I’m going to have to grow up. But I’ll do it when the time is right.”

What does that even mean? Is she going to wait until she’s 27 like Paris Hilton??

So back to the picture. I stared and stared and tried to figure out what was bothering me about it so much, and I realized that they’ve Photoshopped her neck down to nearly nothing. It looks totally freakish, like she’s a Bratz doll or something. Why do magazines do this? Inquiring minds want to know.

Kate Hudson has seemed to already have moved on from Lance Armstrong already. We just found out yesterday that they had broken up…and today Perez Hilton has a source saying that Kate is dating her ex-boyfriend, hockey stud, Eric Lindros.

“Kate and Eric have been holed up at her parent’s [Goldie & Kurt's] house Muskoka, Canada,” a well-placed insider tells us. “She went there immediately after she and Lance ended things.”

Okay, am I the only one thinking that this is getting crazy? Jumping from one guy to another can’t be a good thing. I like Kate as an actress and I would hate for people to start saying bad things about her.

Angelina Jolie is reported to be after the role of Catwoman.�This seems to be a solid piece of information according to News.com.au�check this out:

(Angelina Jolie) is said to be in final negotiations with studio bosses to play the feline villain who first appeared in the Batman comics.�

It is not clear whether she would play the role in the current Batman film series, starring�Christian Bale�as the caped crusader, or in a spin-off film as�Halle Berry�did in 2004′s�Catwoman.�

Actress Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the�Batman�TV series from 1966 to 1967, has given her blessing for Jolie to play the part.�

“Angelina would own the part,” Newmar, now 74, said.�

“My industry friends tell me she has already made enquiries about the role. I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman’s one true love.”�

“She is tremendously popular with women because she’s both a heroine and a villainess.”�

Wow! And with Johnny Depp playing the riddler? (read that story here) The sequel to ‘The Dark Knight’ is sure to be a huge deal, and getting Angelina seems like a perfect romantic choice with�Christian Bale‘s Batman. She’s so well suited as the femme fatal type character. The film has already grossed over�$462.2 million worldwide, and it shows no signs of stopping!

Sharon Osbourne talked with Parade Magazine recently about life as a reality TV star and particularly her newest show, America’s Got Talent.��� Sharon made the distinction between what she called superstars, celebrities and “people who I call ‘infamous.’”� When asked whom she would put in the latter category, she said:

Paris Hilton, who I know. She’s got a look that a lot of younger girls liked and copied but she has no talent. I’m sure Paris would tell you that herself. The timing was right for her. A lot of younger women looked up to her. She’s a very sweet, nice girl. But that’s it. Then you put a full stop. It’s over. So I’d say Paris is infamous.

Oh come on, Sharon!� Give the girl a bit more credit than that.� I’m sure Paris Hilton has some talent… it’s just not the kind of talent you share with polite company.

Rihanna must have forgot her brain at home with Chris Brown. She forgot her bra and her puppies can be seen through her sheer black shirt. May be she didn’t realize when flashes go off you could see through the shirt…but come on…someone should have told her sooner!

We all know that John Mayer and Pete Wentz have a bro-mance and now they are taking it to the next level. Pete wants John to be the godfather of his baby.

“Pete and John have been spending a lot of time together lately and they get on so well,” says a source. �They are firm friends. Rumors of course are flying about what will transpire in the next Batman film. Check this one out from Hollyscoop.com

Johnny Depp is reportedly going to be a part of the next Batman installment playing the Riddler. And not only that, but execs want Philip Seymour Hoffman to play the Penguin.

I doubt the truth in the penguin rumor, because I distinctly remember Christopher Nolan saying that he was against the idea of using the Penguin in his Batman films, because of the character being too ‘far fetched’, but you never know. Depp as the Riddler on the other hand seems a more likely possibility, a good counterpart to Christian Bale‘s Batman. But a bad guy as good as Heath Ledger‘s Joker is going to be hard to match even for Johnny Depp. It’s far too early to tell right now, but there is obviously going to be a sequel. The Dark Knight has already made $462.2 million worldwide!
