Clay Aiken Congratulates Ruben Studdard
You’ve probably already heard that American Idol Ruben Studdard got married to flight attendant Surata Zuri McCants this weekend, in a bash that included a bridal party of something like 40 people. All of Ruben’s friends are so happy for him, including former AI rival Clay Aiken, who gushed to Us Magazine:
“Ruben is one of the most wonderful guys I have ever known,” Aiken, 29, tells Usmagazine.com. “He has such a great heart.
“Zuri is one lucky lady,” Aiken adds. “I’m thrilled for both of them as they start this great chapter in their lives.”
Mmmmhmmmm, Clay. You know why you think Zuri is so lucky. You want some of that Velvet Teddy Bear all for yourself, don’t ya? (Which is FINE, OK? Just FINE.) But you know it’s a slow news day when folks are interviewing folks about other folks’ weddings!! And I haven’t heard Ruben congratulating Clay on his impending fatherhood. I’m pretty sure he finds it just as disturbing as many of the rest of us. though.
