Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have chosen Scientology-based teaching methods for their new private school amid persistent rumors about their religious affiliations.

The Smiths’ New Village Academy is scheduled to open September 3.� The school will reportedly use a teaching method called “study technology,” which “some believe…to be a legitimate teaching method, while others argue it’s merely a way for Scientologists to recruit members.”

The couple has also hired several Scientologists to teach at the school.� The school administrator

insisted the school had no religious affiliation. While some staff members are Scientologists, she told the L.A. Times, others are Muslim, Christian and Jewish.

OK.� These two are supertight BFFs with TomKat and they’ve started what amounts to a Scientology school, and they continue to insist that they are not Scientologists?� Denial seems to be running rampant in Hollywood these days… *cough*Lindsay&Sam*cough*
