MacBecks, which the show’s director calls a “wild comedy romp,” pokes fun at the international supercouple, mixing details of their headline-making life with various bits from classic William Shakespeare plays.

�We�re very excited by the script,” says Ronan Smith of Long Road Productions, which is behind the staging of the satirical sing-song affair. “It borrows from Shakespeare�s Macbeth, King Lear and Romeo & Juliet.”

Posh is styled as “an ambitious Lady Macbeth for whom husband David sacrifices his career.”� Ouch!� I wonder if the Beckhams will be invited to opening night?
