We live in a time when festivals are a dime-a-dozen/season. No longer are the times when a Woodstock or a Monterey Pop Festival were cutting edge. Some might say festivals and live shows of the sort are the safest means of making money too (due to digital downloads and shifting album sales). Anyhoo– I’m really feeling Duffy and her debut album Rockferry. Taking the stage yesterday at the Cardigan Bay, UK venue, she brought her 60′s flair to the masses and while she may just be a bit of a butter-face, I’m feelin the overall look (mom shorts and all). Is Duffy the clean-and-sober answer to Amy Winehouse (last year’s UK 60′s/retro smash)?
