Sting To Pete Doherty: ‘Don’t Stand So Close’ To My Daughter!
Pete Doherty has enraged Sting by getting a little too friendly with his 17-year-old daughter Coco Sumner at Glastonbury earlier this month.
Pete and Coco have been hanging out since they first met a few months ago. She is working on her debut album, and Pete’s been helping. But that might not be all he’s been doing. According to the Daily Mail’s source, they were pretty cozy at the British music festival:
‘I was standing next to Coco’s tent after Pete had played his set, and one of her friends went to check on her.
‘She unzipped the door, and Pete was lying outstretched in her tent.
‘He looked very comfortable and was smoking something - the tent was full of smoke but it was impossible to tell what it was. He seemed pretty out of it, though. ’Coco’s father isn’t too happy about her hanging around Pete because of his reputation, and hit the roof when he heard he had stayed in her tent.’
Hit the roof or vomit? I’m not sure which I’d do if I were Sting. However, that’s probably exactly WHY little Coco is hanging out with someone like Pete. That’s what teenagers DO! That said, if I were Pete I’d stay far, far away from this girl. Sting strikes me as the type of person you would not want to have mad at you!
