Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Welcome Twins Knox Leon & Vivienne Marcheline (July 12)

Our first report was finally confirmed! Angelina Jolie gave birth to a baby boy, Knox Lean, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, yesterday (July 12) at the Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France.

“The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly,” Dr. Michael Sussmann told People Sunday. “Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well.”

Sussmann confirmed the Nice Matin newspaper report that Jolie gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.

“The mother and father are very, very happy,” Sussmann tells People.

The doctor told the Associated Press that the Cesarean was moved forward “for medical reasons” so that the babies could be born “in the best conditions.” He also said Jolie is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days.

The $16 million dollar babies, Knox and Vivienne, should be revealed to the world in an exclusive photo shoot with the condition to never call their parents by Brangelina ever again.

Congratulations Brangelina!! Welcome Knox and Vivienne!! [Love the names!! So strong and international!! Just fabulous!!]

Update!! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins named in honor of their grandparents:

Vivienne’s middle name was chosen as a nod to her late grandmother, Marcheline Bertrand (Angelina’s mother who lost a battle with ovarian cancer). Knox was the middle of name of Brad’s maternal grandfather (His mom was James Etta Hillhouse, her father was Hal Knox Hillhouse).
