Christopher Ciccone Kicks Off Tour of Shame
While estranged sister Madonna is headlining the Stick & Sweet Summer 2008 tour, Christopher Ciccone is embarking on a tour of his own, to promote the tell-all book he’s penned airing out some pretty dirty laundry. Naysayers have been discrediting Ciccone’s book from the start, but few can argue that he virtually had a front row seat to some of his the Queen of Pop’s most controversial years in the industry.

I feel for him. He sounds like a sweet and profoundly patient and generous man who made the fatal mistake of thinking that if he ‘did enough’ and ‘poured himself out’ enough for a narcissist that he would finally get the love/respect/appreciation/acknowledgment he craved. It will never happen, not with M, not with any N. He was a co-dependent of a narcissist. His book is the soul agony of a now middle aged man who poured out his life for a woman/sister/glorified mother figure who used him like a towel wipe and slave. It is his story, but it is also his mourning for a life he can’t get back, self respect he can’t get back. There is an old saw ‘blood is thicker than water’, but shit is thicker than blood and if there is enough shit the blood becomes polluted and does not flow.
