T.I. Reveals New Album Cover
Artwork for legal-beleaguered rapper T.I.’s upcoming album Paper Trail has been revealed by Atlantic Records, featuring an innovative cover featuring scraps of paper forming a composite of the MC.
“We didn’t want to just do a typical cover, especially for my sixth album,” T.I. told MTVNews via e-mail. “I wanted to try something a little more different. The illustration for Paper Trail pays an obvious homage to my rekindled affinity for writing my lyrics down as well as displays my commitment to keep my art slanted towards the abstract.”
“Rekindled affinity”??? Damn homie! I can’t remember the last time I even heard those words separately let-alone together like that. Someone in PR is getting a raise today!
