K-Swift’s Last Hoorah
If you haven’t already heard, or don’t have a clue who DJ K-Swift was, brush up on it here and here. The music community and most-particular-of-all the DJ community has lost a pioneering member. She wasn’t just hip-hop, wasn’t just for the club rats, shown through her frequent, and more-recent gigs with Diplo and others (like Steve Aoki and Kid Sister).
The latter, Diplo has just uploaded this picture from their concert just this past Friday at Paradox in Baltimore, Maryland.
Still so sad…
Details have yet to emerge about the pool incident that claimed the 27-year-old’s life. Her home radio station 92Q in Baltimore is airing today without on-air personalities, and are playing tributes and sound bites memorializing their fallen on-air family member. Listen here.
