Introducing Levi Alves McConaughey
OK! Magazine’s latest issue features Levi Alves McConaughey, born on July 7, and his fantastically attractive parents, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.
Proud Papa Matt describes the delivery from his perspective:
“Contractions started kicking in, and we found a great rhythm. I sat there with her, right between her legs. We got tribal on it. We danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music. We were jamming!”
Although the couple had hoped for a natural birth, Camila ended up having an epidural and eventually a C-section. Again, Matt discusses in his own unique way:
“We ended up having an epidural because, on the large contractions, the umbilical cord was being compressed. They went in and tried the vacuum. This is where I learned — and no one tells you this — but having a baby is a bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing! And I mean that as a beautiful thing. It is wild. But the vacuum didn’t work, and the doctor said, ‘C-section.’”
This child is destined to become the flower child of the century! He and his dad will be playing the bongos naked together before you know it!
