In Barcelona today at a Dark Knight press conference Christian Bale was asked about the incidents that occured over the weekend leading to his arrest. He responded:�

“It’s a deeply personal matter, I would a ask you to respect my privacy on the subject.”

He seemed a little like he was grasping for the words to say, but came across very directly in the one sentence response to the reporter. He seemed calm, but saddened by the subject. Bale did deny the alleged assault of his mother and sister. Reportedly his sister has asked him for $200,000 and he refused it. Of course we may never know what exactly happened, but really, do we need to?�
