Penelope Cruz Gets Defensive About Her Tattoo

Penelope Cruz has a tattoo of 883 on her ankle. Whenever she is asked about the meaning of it she gets really defensive…and in this interview she really did…

Is it true that you have 883 tattooed on your ankle?
It is true, but I never say why.
Is it an area code?
No, and it’s not a Harley-Davidson. It’s not the different things that have been said.
So everyone can have a theory?
I don’t think anyone cares. It’s my own tattoo.
And it’s your own ankle.
Uh-huh.

I think it’s so funny. Yes, everyone may have a special meaning to their tattoos, we hope. But for some reason whenever people ask her about her’s she gets all freaky like that.

Here are some of my theories…

I know sometimes people make up numbers to mean love to them. So that’s what I say it it.
Or maybe Tom Cruise made the aliens brand her with a number and she tattooed it on herself.
Or maybe it’s someone’s birthday.
Or maybe it’s the pick 3 lottery numbers.
