‘The Dark Knight’ Remains King at Box Office

 

‘The Mummy’ failed to de-throne the powerhouse moneymaker ‘The Dark Knight’ this weekend. The film is speeding it’s way to $400 million at $393.7 million domestically and it’s reached a solid $596.2 million worldwide! 

1st - The Dark Knight, $42.6 million. Read my full review of the film here.

2nd - The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opened at, $40.4 million. Read my full review here.  

3rd - Step Brothers made $16.5 million.

4th - Mamma Mia! stayed in the game at $12.6 million.

5th -  Journey to the Center of the Earth, $6.6 million.

6th - Swing Vote opened poorly with $6.2 million.
