If You Haven’t Seen It Yet… Eva Mendes Banned CK Commercial (NSFW)

Brooke Shields famously said in 1981 that nothing gets between her and her Calvin Kleins, and Eva Mendes appears to be fully channeling that sentiment in her new naked ad for CK’s Secret Obsession. It’s incredibly sexy, but it’s too much for U.S. network television.

In the commercial for CK’s Secret Obsession, Eva is featured rolling around naked on an unmade bed. “Between love and madness lies obsession,” Eva says in a lustful tone. “Love…madness. It’s my secret.” So, what’s the problem? Well, the actress starts to caress her breasts and then — ooops! — a little nipple action flashes on the screen.

A sanitized version of the commercial will air, though. But honestly? I think even without the nipple it’s too hot for network TV. Geez, I’m getting old. Damn kids get off my lawn!

I’m in love with this ad! I must’ve seen about 15 times by now, but I can’t get enough of it!

I’d have to agree with you. It’s not terribly creative, but I think of the kids who will see this. It does not play out many things, like consequences…. pregnancies, STD’s, reputations, emotional ramifications, self-esteem, etc. I think that’s rather irresponsable. So, the juice is supposed to make you roll around like a cat in heat, or high on catnip? Exciting. They could have done better. ;)
