Reports say that the original Lethal Weapon screenwriter�Shane Black�has handed in a detailed spec script to producer�Joel�Silver, which takes two old scripts and mashes them together for what would be Lethal Weapon 5.�

We hear�Mel Gibson�and�Danny Glover�are both interested in reprising their roles. As for the plot line, it would have an about -to-retire Riggs coaxing an already retired Murtaugh out for a “ride off into the sunset” adventure.�

I really like the old ones, hope they can make it fresh even though the last one came out 10 years ago.
