According to Hollyscoop.com Lethal Weapon 5 is coming!

Reports say that the original Lethal Weapon screenwriter Shane Black has handed in a detailed spec script to producer Joel Silver, which takes two old scripts and mashes them together for what would be Lethal Weapon 5. 

We hear Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are both interested in reprising their roles. As for the plot line, it would have an about -to-retire Riggs coaxing an already retired Murtaugh out for a “ride off into the sunset” adventure. 

I really like the old ones, hope they can make it fresh even though the last one came out 10 years ago.
