‘Dark Knight’ Still Reigns at Box Office

 

Stoner comedy Pineapple Express was previously though to be the film to knock The Dark Knight off the top of the box office hill, but the film can’t be shaken! This is likely the film’s last week at the top, as Tropic Thunder hits theaters this week. 

1st - The Dark Knight, for the 4th week in a row, topped the box office at $26 million! Read my full review of the film here.

2nd - Pineapple Express, the Judd Apatow comedy release made $22.4 million, Read my full review here.

3rd - The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opened at, $16.1 million. Read my full review here

4th - The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 opened to $10.7 million. 

5th - Step Brothers made $8.9 million.

6th - Mamma Mia! stayed in the game at $8 million.

7th - Journey to the Center of the Earth, $4.9 million.

10th - Wall-E, $3 million.
