Michael Bay is producing a new remake of  Nightmare On Elm Street. According to hollyscoop.com Robert Englund (the original Freddy Krueger) was on loveline with Dr. Drew and mentioned that Michael Bay wanted Billy Bob Thornton for the roll in the new film. And apparently Englund isn’t opposed to the idea. Michael Bay loves to make things crazy and expensive with little substance, but he does have great visual style. It’ll be interesting how he propels this movie forward in modern big budget fashion. Don’t expect to see this movie until 2010.
