Diddy wants his boy Donnie Klang to reach the tops of the charts so badly, that he was willing to lend himself to literally the entire video for the Making the Band alum’s premiere video for his single “Take You There” (he’s not even a judge on his own reality show, mind you).

Try as he will though, Puff’s never been the man with the Midas touch his counterparts might have you think (remember Dream, Da Band, and fallen hitmakers Faith Evans and 112 ?). The song’s mediocre, the video is everything SexyBack rose above, and no matter how hard he tries, it’s sad to say Klang isn’t even a poor man’s Jesse McCartney much-less Justin Timberlake.
