‘Kung Fu Panda 2′ is Coming

The animated film Kung Fu Panda with the voice of Jack Black is going to get a sequel according to hollyscoop.com.

The movie grossed $560 million in global sales, making it Dreamworks’ most successful movie ever.

Dreamworks chief executive, Jeffrey Katzenberg said, “We’ve started conversations about it, and I think in the next 30 or 60 days, we’ll be able to talk completely about that.

Don’t expect the movie to hit theaters anytime soon though, the original Kung Fu Panda took 4 years to make.

When I first heard about Kung Fu Panda I was apprehensive to say the least, but after hearing it was good I finally saw it. Great film! Now I welcome the idea of a sequel, I just hope they can accomplish an equally entertaining continuation of the story.

The first Kung Fu Panda was certainly lucrative enough to inspire a sequel, even if the second makes half as much as the first that wouldn’t be too bad
