Poodles, Pig Ears, Crickets and Crows on Big Brother 10
Rennie turned out to be a pretty stupid HOH on Big Brother. Shocking, I know. She pretty much threw any alliance hope out the window when she decided that Memphis was her biggest threat. She even went so far as to ask Dan and Memphis to be pawns to get April out because she didn’t want to offend too many people. So putting up people in your own alliance won’t make enemies? Riiiiiight.
Things must be getting pretty boring in the house, because CBS chose show clips on the house guests throwing April’s stuffed poodle, Holly, all over the yard. It was like a 3rd grade recess… everyone passing the poodle around to keep it from April. Very mature. We also got a glimpse into Ollie’s fear of birds. He literally hid and ran from a crow that was hanging out outside. He was honestly terrified. It was pretty humorous to see a big grown man running from a little bird 50 yards away.
The food competition was a rock, paper scissors type game where slop, pig ears, and crickets were the options. Slop trumped pig ears, pig ears silenced crickets and crickets washed out slop. After a lot of crickets and pig ears were eaten (even by vegetarian April), Michelle, Keesha, Dan and April ended up winning food for the week. Jerry majorly gagged on some slop, which sucks for him because that’s all he’s eaten for weeks and he’s on it another week. Darn.
After Rennie and Ollie had a serious pow-wow, it was time for the nomination ceremony. Rennie told us, “Nobody’s gonna make decisions for me” to make it clear that Keesha wouldn’t run her HOH show. In the end, it was Jerry and April on the block. April because she’s a “fierce competitor” and Jerry because he nominated her week 1. Though I like Jerry least, it would have been a much better strategic move to put up Ollie against April, but Rennie never claimed to be the smartest lady, I guess.
