I was really hoping we would see a kick butt return from Britney Spears at Video Music Awards in a couple of weeks but it looks like it won’t be happening.

“Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally,” Ryan Seacrest quoted her manager, Larry Rudolph, as saying on his KIIS-FM radio show Monday morning.

Larry Rudolph went on to say…

Rudolph told Seacrest that Spears “is in the middle of recording her next album, which is going amazingly well, and was never supposed to perform at that show.”

The rumor started out when hairdresser, Kim Vo, said he was preparing a hairstyle for a ‘performance’. I still know that there is a top secret performance. So who will that be then?

But, no matter what Britney will be at the VMA’s, but no one knows how she is involved. We will all have to wait and see.
