‘Thunder’ Beats ‘Bunny’, ‘Death’ and ‘Dark Knight’

Tropic Thunder, the Ben Stiller directed film managed to stay on top this past weekend beating out The House Bunny, Death Race and The Dark Knight. Here are the numbers.

 

1st - Tropic Thunder, managed $16.2 million in its second weekend. 

2nd - The House Bunny, couldn’t quite hit number one, but it got pretty close with $14.5 million.

3rd - Death Race, opened to $12.6 million.

4th - The Dark Knight, fell to it’s lowest slot since it’s release making $10.5 million. Read my full review of the film here.

5th - Star Wars: The Clone Wars, $5.6 million. 

6th - Pineapple Express, $5.4 million, Read my full review here.

7th - Mirrors, $5 million. 

8th - Mamma Mia!, $4.3 million.

9th - The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, $4.1 million. Read my full review here

10th - The Longshots opened to $4 million, sad.
