VIDEO PREMIERE: Heidi Montag - “Overdosin’”

Surprisingly (especially to myself), I don’t have a lot of bad to say about this video. If more artists stuck to their schtick like Heidi Montag, the world would be a much better place. The font, intentionally amateur (I hope), and the “let’s smear Vasoline on the lens” effect compliment the dominance of camp, which The Hills star has perfected like Fellini and baroque.

What is it they say? If it ain’t baroque, don’t fix it? She can fix her nose all she wants, but as long as she continues not taking herself too seriously (Olivia Newton John blaspheming and all), I’m not hatin’!

I personally think that beach video was better…for some people that claim they have millions they sure don’t know how to use it. It’s cheap and crappy.

The video is awful. She does not even sing to the words.
