Katy Perry’s Quest For A Girl To Kiss

Miley Cyrus politely declined Katy Perrys invitation to smooch with her on stage during the VMAs next month, but MTV is sure it can find SOMEone to fuel the schoolboy girl on girl fantasies of the masses. Undaunted, producers are really working hardon finding a female celeb to kiss during this year’s live telecast of the awards show on Sept. 7.

Rumor has it that the short list currently consists of one name: Lindsay Lohan. Theyre actually going to ask, a source told E! Onlines Marc Malkin.

Lilo? Now that is just asking for trouble. Can you imagine the chaos? Daddy Dearest Michael Lohan would run on stage carrying a crucifix and attempt an exorcism on the spot, while making sure the camera got his good side. Meanwhile, MOTY Dina would be furiously dialing her agent to see whether it boosted or killed her ratings. And SamRo would swing down from a boom mike, flinging LPs left and right, knock Katy Perry unconscious, scoop up Lindsay in her arms and oh wait. This is the VMAs, not an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess! Sorrywhat with all the lesbians, I got confused for a second there.

But look. This idea is so 1990s anyway. Two girls kissing, BFD. Ellen and Portia just got married! Chicks openly date chicks and dudes openly date dudes now! A bisexual ho got her own reality show! If thats the best MTVs got, it needs to invest a teeny bit more in R&D.
