TMZ reports that hunky football star Tom Brady has dropped some serious cash on a piece of land in Los Angeles. Just the land though – there’s no building on it yet.

The $11 million, three acre property is in Arnold Schwarzenegger’s neighborhood in Brentwood. Brady works in Boston, so what’s he doing buying land in California? Various theories abound. Some say that he’s getting ready to shack up with girlfriend Gisele Bundchen. Others say that he wants to be closer to his son with Bridget Moynahan, but Bridget’s peeps say that’s not true at all.

So a plot of land is great, but unless you’re an environmentalist, probably not that useful. What’s Brady (and/or Gisele, and/or baby Jack) going to live in?  He’s going to have to think of something, because according to TMZ,

There were blueprints for a 20,000-square ft. house already drawn up, but Brady nixed those because the pad wasn’t big enough.

Ummm…. really?  Not big enough for WHAT?? His own personal football stadium?
