Leighton Meester’s Secret Past

It seems like everyone has skeletons in the closet. And when we can overcome these things we are really successful. Leighton Meester is one of those people.

Star Magazine is reporting that Leighton was born in jail…

[Leighton] was born while her mother was serving a federal prison sentence in Texas. The mom was allowed to stay in a halfway house for the birth, but had to return to prison on the day Leighton turned three months. The future star was raised by a relative while mom served out her sentence for her role in a major drug-running ring.

Leighton’s family has quite the record for being arrested…

Her father, grandfather and aunt all did hard time in federal prisons for drug dealing!

Leighton is so much better than that. I totally love her on Gossip Girl. So, you keep showing them that you are better than anyone because surviving that. I think you are!
