It has been confirmed by MTV itself that Britney Spears will be kicking off the VMA’s. Although it is unknown how she will be doing that it’s great to know that Britney is coming back.

I wonder how they will do it. Will she ride in on an elephant or sing one of her songs? I’m sure a lot of people will be tuning to see if she makes a fool of herself or not. (I’m going for not!) It makes me so excited to think she’s actually going to do this. I was right all along.

UPDATE: Britney Spears issued a statement about it on People:

“MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs?” Spears [said in a statement]. “I’m excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated.”
