I could not disagree with you more here. The thing is ‘complimentary opposites’. My first husband was ‘just like me’. He ended up becoming a BFF and then it ended. We had much the same flaws as well. My second husband is very different from me. We are like the left and the right sides of the brain. We fill in and compensate for what the other one lacks and it is a mutual admiration society where neither is bored and we can help and inspire each other. I can also tell that with Paris, she has a person who clearly worships and adores her, who sees her and believes in her. Sure the party scene seems shallow after that.
