I posted Friday that Christina Aguilera was going to be performing a modernized rendition of her debut single “Genie in a Bottle”–that which she did, but adding a twist to tonight’s overall-bland awards show, she debuted an electro-glam performance of her new single “Superbitch” (or “Super Bitch” — press release pending). Aside from Rihanna’s usual amazing stage presence (opening the show with “Disturbia” and absolutely killing it dueting with T.I. for “Live Your Life”) it was the performance of the night.

Stay tuned– I’m sure I’ll be able to snag the audio sometime tomorrow morning! Looking forward to an entire album in the same vein.
