Britney Spears Makes A Comeback At The VMA’s
Britney Spears made her comeback last night at the 2008 MTV VMA’s. She didn’t perform at the awards show but she did do an opening segment. She looked fresh and happy. After the skit was over you could see them leading her to the stage. There she opened the show by saying it was the VMAs 25th birthday. Then Rihanna sang. It was all a shock to me! I really wanted to see her perform.
I was surprised to know that for all the awards that she has been nominated for at the VMA’s she never won one! But last night she totally swept the awards by winning three! She won for Best Female Video, Best Pop Video and Video of the Year.
When she was accepting her first award she said…
“I’m speechless. Oh my goodness. Thank you. First and foremost I want to thank God blessing me like this,” she said, also thanking, “my two beautiful boys who inspire me every day, and my fans, this is for you. Thank you.”
The other two speeches were almost identical to that one except the Video of the Year one was dedicated to the fans. I totally ate it all up. It was great to see Britney back and looking great. But this is just the beginning. Britney’s back, b*tch.
