‘Project Runway’ Winner Christian Siriano Designing for the Emmys

In all his fierce, fabulous and flawless glory, Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano will be designing a gown for a “trophy girl” to wear on stage at this month’s Emmy Awards. He will join The Hills star Lauren Conrad as the second reality show designer to get a gig with the show. Conrad will be dressing a trophy bearer.

Here’s what Christian had to say about the exciting news revealed Monday:

“It has been so inspiring watching the Emmys every year to see who is going to be the most fabulous diva at the show. … It will be such an experience seeing my own creation on stage.”

Siriano will have “Project Runway” company, with the show’s Heidi Klum serving as one of five reality show hosts who are to emcee the awards. All five are nominated in a new category recognizing their work.

The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards are set to air Sept. 21 on ABC.
