Jordin Sparks Doesn’t Regret What She Said At The VMAs

Jordin Sparks spoke up about promise rings at the VMAs on Sunday saying…

“I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring,” Sparks, 18, told the crowd, off-the-cuff, “because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”

I really didn’t think it was too bad. All I think is that these people claiming to have promise rings don’t go through on their promise.

Jordin was asked if she regretted what she said the other night…

“It’s something I feel strongly about. I wish I would’ve worded it differently — that somebody who doesn’t wear a promise ring isn’t necessarily a slut — but I can’t take it back now. It was a split-second thing, and it came out kind of wrong. Still, I don’t regret it.”

I just hope that the Jonas Brothers don’t go back on their word, this is how come most people make fun of these things. If we could see one person actually doing what they say, people wouldn’t be so quick to mock.
