50 Cent Re-Ignites Fake Beef with Kanye

Didn’t we already fall for this once?  Even MTV seems to be buying it.  Sure 50 Cent lost his corny “who can sell more” battle with Kanye, but he still knew it was the best marketing move he could have made (as week and single-less as Curtis was, there’s no way it would have done as well as it initially did).

Curtis performed this past weekend in Albany NY, and he demanded everyone get their camera phones ready– that he was about to debut his new single live for his packed crowd (he and his G-Unit cronies performed an almost-2-hour set).  Then? The intro drum kicks for West’s “Love Lockdown” struck.  Fif’ sang along to the first line, before laughing, telling the audience - “That’s what y’all are left with… I’ll forgive y’all for that one.”

The fledgling MC/wannabe actor then brought out equally talented MC’s Flavor Flav and LL Cool J before announcing his new album Before I Self-Destruct (really? Is that a promise Mr. Jackson?)’s release date - December 9th, conveniently mimicking ‘Ye’s release date of 808’s and Heartbreaks.

Keyshia Cole also performed at the venue, performing only a select few of her hits before walking offstage “barking” at the sound man.
