Taylor Swift Achieves Lifetime Goal with “Grey’s Anatomy”

If you tune into this Thursday’s premiere episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, and you happen to be a fan of Taylor Swift’s, then you’re in for a treat [note to self: this makes my second post about Taylor Swift, a lifetime goal accomplished in its own right].
“White Horse,” a cut from the country-pop sensation’s upcoming album will be included in the 2-hour premiere’s soundtrack and she couldn’t be more thrilled.
“You should’ve seen tears streaming down my face when I got the phone call that they were going to use that song,” Swift tells Billboard. “I have never been that excited.
“This is my life’s goal,” she continues, “to have a song on ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ My love of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has never wavered. It’s my longest relationship to date.”
Cute.
About the song itself, Swift describes it as:
“It’s one of the songs that I am really proud of on the record because it’s so sparse — it’s guitar, piano and cello.
“It talks about falling in love and the fairy tales that you are going to have with this person, and then there is that moment where you realize that it is not going to happen. That moment is the most earth shattering moment.”
Swift’s sophomore album (sure to be a hit), Fearless is due November 11th.
