Whoopi Goldberg gushed and crushed on John Mayer following his performance at a benefit concert in New York last night.�� People reports that she “took to the stage smiling like a teenaged girl.”

“Oh my God! How cute is John Mayer?… In the old days, I’da snatched him up. Now, I’m too tired.”

So I know I’m an old lady and all, but I don’t get the appeal of John Mayer.� Which is good, because Taylor Blue would totally fight me for him, and I’m sure she’d kick my butt.�� On the other hand, I met a guy who claimed to have dated Whoopi before she was famous, and I can see some similarities between him and John Mayer, so maybe that guy was telling the truth after all… hmmm…
