I can’t even believe how old The Simpsons are! They are entering their 20th season on the premiere Sunday night. What can we look forward to this season?

Bartender Moe begins internet dating, Maggie goes to trial and the Simpsons venture overseas to Ireland, Jean also dished on famous voices we can expect to hear, whether Spider-Pig will return and which presidential candidate Homer supports.

I can tell you that the presidential candidate by the looks of it that he supports is Obama…but you will have to watch to find out on their Halloween show, November 2.

When the first season of The Simpsons aired in 1989, I was 14….I can’t believe how this show has been there my whole life. I haven’t really ever been into The Simpsons, although I love the Halloween episodes and secretly wish they could all be like that. I looked up some things that also happened in 1989, so we could see what life was like so many years ago!

June 89-The movie Batman is released in the United States.
Aug 89-Eric and Lyle Menendez shoot and kill their parents in their Beverly Hills Mansion.
Aug 89-Corey Feldman and Vanessa Marcil got marrie.
Oct 89-Wayne Gretzky becomes the all time leading points scorer in the NHL.
Sometime in 89-Johnny Depp and Jennifer Gray break up.
Sometime in 89-George Clooney and Kelly Preston break up.

Life has changed so much since then. Congratulations to The Simpsons for lasting through everything.
