Matilda To Inherit Heath Ledger’s Entire Fortune

Heath Ledger’s father Kim has announced that the late actor’s entire estate will be given to his daughter, Matilda.

Ledger’s will, which was signed two years before Matilda was born, left everything to his parents and sisters.  The will has been in probate court in Australia, and according to the Daily Mail, it was expected that Matilda’s mother Michelle Williams “would lodge a claim on the will on behalf of their daughter.”

That appears to be unnecessary now, after Kim Ledger’s announcement:

‘Our family has gifted everything to Matilda.’

One of the accountants involved in the case said “he could not reveal what Matilda would inherit, but it is estimated to be in the millions.”

Ledger died on January 22, 2008 of an accidental overdose.
