David Letterman Grills Anne Hathaway About Her Ex Boyfriend
Anne Hathaway was on The Letterman Show last night to talk about her new movie, Rachel Getting Married. But of course, the interview went exactly in the opposite way….A discussion about her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri.
On if she had any hints of his criminal past: “I don’t want to go into the specifics but I will say that you do have to give me credit because as far as relationships crashing and burning goes, c’mon, I did pretty great. I mean, scorched that earth.”
On the situation being ‘pretty unusual‘: “That’s definitely one of the words that, yeah,” Hathaway responded, adding, “Do you want to know his shoe size too?”
On if he would be in jail for awhile: “You know, I really don’t know the specifics about that,” Hathaway replied. “I’m just kind of promoting my my movie, living my life. I got to keep my dog! That’s the most important thing. That’s the thing that I focused on.”
The questioning went on for a while but Anne took it will grace. I think I would have told David Letterman no comment after the first question.
