David Archuleta Will Make Acting Debut on Nickelodeon

American Idol runner-up David Archuleta drops his album November 11, but news has just surfaced that his acting debut will come next. He will guest star in an episode of the Nickelodeon show iCarly as a contestant in a talent competition called “America Sings“. It is scheduled to air in the spring.

“iCarly is all about super-talented teens so David Archuleta is an ideal fit,” says iCarly executive producer and creator Dan Schneider.

I’ll be interested to see how he does. What do you think?

I can’t wait to see him on this show, and I can’t wait to buy this album! He proved on Idol, and especially with his hit single Crush, that he can sing and blow you away in any style of music he chooses to sing. He’s a true artist, and there is much anticipation to hear what he’s gonna serve up on 11/11.

Can’t wait to see David in his acting debut on ICarly! If he acts half as well as he sings, we are in for a treat… This guy is AWESOME!
