O.J. Simpson Finally Found Guilty

O.J. Simpson

Thirteen years to the day that he was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, O.J. Simpson was found guilty of armed robbery, kidnapping and 10 other counts related to the hotel room raid of two sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas.

Judge Jackie Glass denied a request for Simpson to be released on bail after the verdicts were read.

Simpson’s lawyer, Yale Galanter said they would appeal the verdict and suggested that his client was penalized for his notoriety.

“Definitely someone like O.J. Simpson, everyone has a fixed opinion of him and it’s troubling,” Galenter told the AP. “I wasn’t surprised. He’s extremely upset, extremely emotional, but it was something that was expected.”

Sentencing is scheduled for December 5th.  Simpson faces a sentence of 15 years to life.

Let justice finally be served.
