Sarah Palin Fights Back, Wants To Parody Her Parodist

Tina Fey rocked Saturday Night Live last night with her pitch-perfect portrayal of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. And so far, Palin seems OK with the spoofs. But the Chicago Sun-Times has a tip that some in the McCain camp

including the governor herself — think a return punch on the NBC airwaves is what’s needed.

The source said that Palin may appear “on Thursday on the first of NBC’s ”Weekend Update” specials in prime time,” or possibly on the October 18th broadcast of SNL.

The material? It’s looking like a riff on Fey’s American Express commercials. Which, I must admit, are just begging to be spoofed, especially the one with her and Martin Scorsese. Check it out below - what do you think?

OOH she’s so darn cute! NOT.

Sarah Palin is GW in drag. A Governor with little administrative experience and NO foreign policy experience.

This is the best that McCain can come up with? McCain is older than my dearly departed Dad. There is a 25% chance that this bimbo will be our President. But hey, the dispicable Rush L. said it best, “We’ve got the babe on the ticket.”

Are Americans really so superficial that they can be distracted by a moose shooting beauty queen? I guess we’ll find out in November.
