Katie Holmes Sings And Dances On Eli Stone

I had heard that there was a scene in Katie Holmesguest appearance of Eli Stone. I just didn’t know it would be like this. The stylist for this show should be fired. She looks more like a tranny mess then Katie. Is someone doing this so she totally ruins her career. Run Katie, as fast as you can! I want Joey Potter back ASAP!

I wanted to like this… but it was embarrassing. She is not CZ Jones in Chicago. It was like watching a (rather bad) high school performance. Her singing voice is screechy and awful (better to have dubbed it) the dancing was mostly self-conscious posing, and the hair…. Also, it was disconcerting for her to go so much against her carefully crafted brand, both pre-and post Tom. She is too much the sweet girl next door to pull of ‘the vamp’. There is no edge, no wildness, no danger. A bad vehicle for her.

Still, let’s stop calling women ‘trannies’, hot tranny messes, etc. It is a form of misogyny that attempts to shame and lock women out of their own vehicles for fantasy and sexual self expression - as women - not as men with such a severe case of Venus envy they not only dress up as women, but then try to smear women with the same name as what they are; mimicking strong, glamorous, theatrical, beautiful women. It reveals their fundamental male conceit. ‘Men can do anything women do better, including being sexually powerful women’. Not.

As a woman, please don’t add to that attempted oppression of women.
