The Shocking ‘Project Runway’ Final 3

So remember how Jarell won the last challenge on Project Runway before the finals? Well too bad he didn’t get immunity because he spent all that time making a collection and then didn’t make it to final 3. All the designers arrived in NYC with their collections in hand, thinking the wedding dress alone would decide their fate. Then Tim revealed that they had to make a bridesmaids dress to coordinate with the wedding dress and exemplify the entire collection. Kenley made nice with everyone and apologized for her behavior… But told the camera that there was no point in hating people she would never talk to again. Nice :)

Everything LeAnne did was perfection, and her wedding dress was detailed and absolutely beautiful. Kenley’s collection was hideous, but the wedding dress she created was amazing and she designed a really precious bridesmaid dress, too. Jarell’s wedding dress was awkward in places and had weird action around the boobs, and the bridesmaid dress was a little “mumsy”. Korto’s dresses were too similar and Heidi thought no bride would want to wear her dress. Ouch.

LeAnne and Kenley easily went on to Bryant Park, leaving a shocked Jarell and crushed Korto to wait for the decision. Korto was safe, making Jarell out… and to be honest, the sneak peek we got of his collection was pretty rough. He is very different and definitely will be successful in fashion, but he’s gotta chill out with the over-embellishment.

LeAnne’s gonna win this thing, and I hope one day I can buy one of her designs. I really think she’s amazing. Korto had some really cool stuff, too, but everyone who saw the runway show said that LeAnne’s was the most professional and cohesive.  Go all-girl final 3!
