Zac Efron appears to be trying to distance himself from Disney’s sugar-sweet wholesome image. He has been approached for the role of the disturbed stable boy in Equus - yes, the very same role for which Daniel Radcliffe is earning rave reviews. Zac said:

“You know that Daniel Radcliffe role on Broadway, well it’s been mentioned.�

Oh hell no!� That’s a serious play with serious content!� Zac is, well, a DISNEY star!� I just can’t see it.� And anyway, he shouldn’t be wasting his time trying to follow in Harry Potter’s footsteps - he is clearly in the running to replace Tom Cruise as the next Gay Little Elf, so why not focus on what he’s good at?
